Scholarship Opportunity

Pacific Foods, in partnership with the BGA, is offering a scholarship for one lucky barista to attend Barista Camp this fall in Java Center, NY.

Barista Camp serves as a hands-on platform to build your knowledge and understanding of the history, fundamentals, art and science of coffee preparation, develop exceptional customer service skills, and learn industry recognized standards and practices in order to train other baristas at your cafe.

Highlights include skill building workshops, one-of-a-kind industry lectures, and the opportunity to meet and network with coffee professionals just like you!

“Whether you’re a barista who forgot to save those tips for the trip to Camp, couldn’t get your boss to pay for Camp registration, or maybe that Kickstarter for Camp just didn’t work out — the SCAA is offering a chance for you to still attend Barista Camp! I’m excited that this opportunity is being offered to a lucky barista, and can’t wait to welcome them at Camp,” said Julie Housh, Former BGA Executive Council Chair.
